Hi, I’m Oileán

I’m currently a junior architect at Broadway Malyan in Lisbon, Portugal. Generally I live in Ireland.

I completed my Architecture BSc Hons in Queen’s University Belfast in 2025, graduating with first class honours.

During my time in Belfast I worked on student projects, each with a variety of different contexts and uses. Each of these is detailed to some degree in projects.

Thus far I have had the opportunity to work to some degree in Portugal, the UAE, Italy, the Netherlands and on/around the north of the island of Ireland.

In the past three years I have had some incredibly fortunate opportunities in Architecture, research projects, exhibitions, travel, awards.

In 24/25 I served as QUB’s student representative to the Royal Society of Ulster Architects Council and in November 2024 I led a team to winning the World Architecture Festival’s Student Charette.

Alongside architecture I love various media, i.e music, film, etc.
